Kelseyville Fire Protection District, offers live fire training to agencies throughout Northern and Central California. Agencies have the option to host training’s and pay for the training out of pocket (call for pricing) or by funding provided by the SAFER 3 Grant from the California State Firefighters’ Association (CSFA).
Our burn simulator is by FIREBLAST and provides state of the art technology with the ability to provide life-like training evolutions such as; a rollover prop, forcible entry prop, couch and stove prop, wall breach, cold smoke and black out drills. The second story allows for above grade and/or below grade hose and rescue evolutions as well as realistic vertical ventilation. The ventilation prop provides the opportunity to break through sheet rock, cut through OSB and roll rafters. Training can be tailored specifically to your department needs.
The FIREBLAST Burn Simulator is completely mobile and available to be transported anywhere in the state of California at little to no cost to the hosting agency under a grant that is provided by CSFA.
